A HEBRANK EARNS CHARTED FINANCIAL CONSULTANT DESIGNATION

CA - May 1, 2001 - Raymond A. Hebrank, CPA has earned the Charted
Financial Consultant professional designation from the American
College, Bryn Mawr, PA. The nations oldest and largest, accredited,
distance educational institution, the College offers professional
designation and graduate degree programs for those seeking career

Candidates
for the ChFC designation must complete an eight-course curriculum
of study and 16 hours of supervised examinations, and fulfill
stringent experience and ethical requirements. Over 35,000 individuals
have been awarded the ChFC designation since its inception in
1982.
The ChFC program
focuses on the complete financial planning process as an organized
way to collect and analyze information on a client's total financial
situation; identify and establish specific financial goals; and
formulate, implement and monitor a comprehensive plan to achieve
those
goals. The subject matter covered by the program includes financial
planning, wealth accumulation and estate planning, income taxation,
life and health insurance business taxation and planning, investments
and retirement planning.
LOCAL CPA EARNS PERSONAL FINANCIAL SPECIALIST DESIGNATION

CA - July 1 2001 - Raymond Hebrank, CPA, ChFC of Canoga Park has
been awarded the prestigious Personal Financial Specialist (PFS)
designation by the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants
(AICPA).
The PFS designation,
established in 1987 by the AICPA, recognizes CPAs with considerable
professional experience in financial planning. Currently, more
than 3,000 CPAs hold the PFS designation.
Raymond Hebrank
met six requirements to earn the designation, including
passing a technical exam covering the five functional areas of
personal
financial planning: personal income tax planning, risk management
and
insurance planning, investment planning, retirement planning and
estate
planning. In addition, Raymond Hebrank completed 250 hours of
experience per year for three years. All PFS candidates must also
hold a valid CPA certificate and be an AICPA member in good standing.

earned the PFS designation must be reaccredited every three years
to maintain the credential.

to assist CPAs in the growing practice of personal financial planning.
With more than 8,000 members, the PFP Division provides members
with the information and support necessary to maintain professional
competence and experience in the area of personal financial planning.
The AICPA
